Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Preparing and cooking menu items to a high standard
• Assisting in menu planning and specials development
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen
• Monitoring food costs and minimising waste
• Training and supervising kitchen staff
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
Skills & Experience Required
To be considered for this role, you must have:
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen
• Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery (Certificate III or IV)
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
